The Crescendos - Long Tall Sally
The Crescendos were the first Singaporean group to make it big, selling hit records in Singapore, Malaysia, and even Holland! They were also one of the first local pop bands to be signed onto a major label - Philips in 1963. With Susan Lim as the powerhouse singer, the band made a name for themselves with their strong harmonies and cover versions of popular rock and roll songs. Susan Lim left the Crescendos when she entered University. She was picnicking of the East Coast of Malaysia when she disappeared on Feb 8 1970, presumably drowned.

Tried connecting to the two songs you posted, but the link had apparently expired. A great effort on your part. I am trying to get the CD compilation of their songs and have had no success so far.
