Shelley Fabares - Make Me Happy
Shelley Fabares appeared in 3 Elvis movies, and she was also in Hold On!, a 1966 film starring Herman's Hermits, from which this song appears. It's full of campy fun, much like those beach party movies starring Annette Funicello and Frankie Avalon. And it had a catchy soundtrack to boot. The perfect summer teen flick, so what if critics panned its poor plot.
