This infectious Dusty Springfield number was covered by Ash in the mid-nineties. Usually I cringe when modern bands decide to do cover versions of sixties songs, but Ash kept the high-energy, poppy spirit of the original, so it really is quite a gem!

I agree, being true to the spirit of it but keeping it suitably low-key is the way to go with these covers. Plus boy covers of girly songs = hot. Thanks for posting it!
