On Sunday, I had the wonderful opportunity to interview Raymond Ho and John Chee, of The Crescendos. This vocal group was the first local act to be signed to an international record label in Singapore. It was an amazing experience, and I have a lot of audio clips to share from the interview. The only thing is that it's taking me a bit longer than expected to edit everything and put up a proper post. I don't want to make this a half-hearted / rushed attempt, so do bear with me. im working on patching together a sort of history of bands in Malaysia, Ive had some help from J. Pereira (steam kodok, golden venus etc), but if youd be able to help me too I'd really appreciate it...
